We are a Community Learning Centre providing facilities for training and community activities.

We opened in September 1999, by offering our first IT course using our purpose built computer suite. Since then, we have continued to develop our range of provision for the local community and we now offer a variety of courses ranging from basic computer “Taster” sessions to Advanced level Courses. We enjoy an excellent reputation in teaching adults. Our tutors hold nationally recognised qualifications in teaching adults. They are friendly and approachable and are sensitive to the needs of adult learners. 

Our accommodation consists of a training room which has just been updated with a full suite of new computers operating with Windows 7 and Office 2007 and a conference centre which has kitchen facilities attached. Our centre also offers full disabled access, hearing loop and our IT Suite has a large screen monitor and large key keyboard.

We can cater for courses other than just IT, a diverse menu of courses are provided on a vocational and non vocational basis, including belly dancing, languages and first aid. 

The conference centre can also be hired out for meetings and training purposes. Local groups such as the Women's Institute, reading group and the Lowry Hill/Newfield Residents Association use our facilities.
